What followed were four decades of simultaneous building across India, Africa, and Asia — factories, trading companies, a listed entity, contract manufacturing, and a logistics and customs brokerage practice spanning twenty years that some of India's leading companies trusted with their supply chains. Eight businesses. Five countries. A workforce of 400. All built from the ground up. All at once.
In 2015, he absorbed a significant business loss in Africa. He did not stop. He converted the loss into a principle — Nothing is Wasted. Today, at 70, he is studying at Harvard Extension School — returning to the classroom after a fifty-year gap. Not because he had to. Because that is how he has always lived. Start where you are. Divyamansingh Thakur grew up inside a building tradition and then went out deliberately to understand how other businesses work. IHM-trained. Resort operations in West Africa and the Andamans. A & H Ventures was incorporated in December 2020. Our first client engagement begins in 2026.
That is five years of building before we opened the door — and we would do it the same way again.
We built the frameworks from scratch — the Parampara Readiness Score, the Ahvante PRIME diagnostic, the 8-phase industrial methodology, the Duty Leakage Audit protocol, the Entrepreneur Readiness Assessment. We built the infrastructure — legal, regulatory, operational, technological. We studied. We researched. We declined work that did not belong to us, to protect the integrity of work that did.
We also assessed ourselves using our own tools and scored 72 out of 100 — Conditionally Ready. We share that number with everyone we meet. A Sarthi who is not ready has no business walking alongside someone else. We chose our first engagement with the same care we will bring to every engagement that follows.
